Chris divides his music career between creating, performing, and teaching music. He serves as an clinician and private music instructor primarily in Coloroado where he lives, with occasional trips within the U.S. and throughout the world. Over the last decade he has taught music in Special Education Classes, Music Camps, Public Schools, Day Care Centers, Performing Arts Academys, and Music Centers. Chris currently gives private lessons for Flute, Guitar, Saxophone, Clarinet, Theory, Song Writing, Ableton Live, and the occasional Recorder and Piano lesson. He also works with professionals, assisting them in transforming limiting beliefs with Nero Linguistic Programing (N.L.P.)

He teaches Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays at the Music and Arts Center In Littleton CO. Chris also runs and operates the Colorado Music Lab, a music center dedicated to educational excellence, service focused music production, and creative music projects. He can be found there every thursday and friday giving lessons, recording, and rehearsing.

Colorado Music Lab is a music education and production center located in Littleton Colorado owned and operated by musician and educator Christopher Lawhead. We have dedicated, passionate teachers at our physical location and online. Our online teachers and resources are growing rapidly allowing us to reach music students around the world. We are dedicated to serving our students, clients, and community throughout the world with music. We offer private and group introduction on a variety of instruments and software. We also produce clinics, concerts, audio, and educational videos for the musical community.
